VSA is teaming up with MSU French club to bring you Francophone Asian Night!!  This will definitely be a night to remember!  VSA’s first ever collaboration with the French Club is something you can’t miss!!  Join us at the International Center, Room 115 on Wednesday, February 15th for a night of culture, free food, and some great people!  There will be an exciting guest speaker, Thao Nguyen, who is the embodiment to the mixture of French and Vietnamese culture!  VSA will be serving bánh mì, Vietnamese style sandwiches and French Club will be showing the acclaimed film, Indochine!  So come by and make some new friends and enjoy this blending of cultures at this most momentous event!

We’re teaming up with our good friends from the Hmong-American Student Association (HASA) to bring you Chillaxer!  Stop by to hang out, play some video games, enjoy some snacks, and socialize with some wonderful people!  We’ll be having several TVs set up with Wiis.  Rock out to some “Just Dance!” or beat-em-up with everyone’s favorite, “Super Smash Bros. Brawl”.  We’re all about fun!

Another one of our traditions, most popular amongst the ladies!  We do great work on nails, so come by and have them prettied up for a very friendly price!  Our talented nail artists are from your very own eboard and former eboard!

Welcome back everyone!  We hope you all had a great Winter Break and had tons of sleep!  We’re kicking off the semester with a Lunar New Year celebration!  Come enjoy some great Vietnamese traditions and games with our first GBM of the semester!  It’s a new semester, so come see your friends and make some new ones!

Design and make your very own gingerbread houses at our last general body meeting of the semester!  Eboard’s feeling extra Christmas-y so wear holiday colors to earn extra points! Oh! and the winners of the point system will be announced!! Definitely something not to miss!! Come and hang out with us for the last time this semester!

Yup! it’s what you’ve all been waiting for! One of VSA’s favorite traditions!! PHO NIGHT!!  Deliciousness in a bowl, made by our very own e-board!  For $5 a bowl, this is something you won’t want to miss out on!  Don’t know what Pho is?  It is the dish Vietnam is know for, all around the world.  A favorite of many and beloved by all, Pho is a rice noodle dish served in a delicious beef broth, with countless toppings…. well the best way to find out what Pho is by joining us!  Extra special thanks to Thai Kitchen for allowing us to host this tradition at their lovely restaurant!

Another VSA tradition!  Welcome the holidays with VSA as we venture to downtown Lansing to view the glorious Lighting of the Tree, beautiful fireworks, and up and coming pop star, Cody Simpson perform!  It will be a night to remember with your favorite VSA people!  Have a wonderful holiday everyone!
